These are awesome pics. I totally drew them making out in that Nova issue too!

Nova and Gamora cosplayers at NYCC 2011; photos by Judy Stephens.
Nova was at Fan Expo Canada this year and knocked my socks off. Gamora’s also just terrific. Check out some of the covers by Adi Granov that served as source material for these fantastic costumes:

THE LOST SCRAPBOOK OF CADAVRA
With CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER currently in theatres, I thought you might want to take a look at this version of the star-spangled Avenger that few have seen. He was played by Arthur Pierce on Boston television from 1966-67, hosting the limited animation “Marvel Super-Heroes” cartoons. The host segments were written by Jerry Siegel, co-creator of Superman.
Wow! Now this is interesting. This is what the internet was made for. Thanks for sharing this.

This is just beautiful. I downloaded it and loved it and I’m trying to spread the word.
It got me thinking, I’ve always wanted to do a comic to the lyrics of some albums, Rush 2112, and Queensryche’s album Operation Mindcrime specifically. I think I’ll just go ahead and do them and post them online in PDF form like this.

FULL SPACE ODDITY BOOK DOWNLOADING GOODNESS!
Hi friends. I don’t know what happened but my little Bowie project caught on like gangbusters! Thanks for all interest and inquiries regarding the book.
So, since I’m sure the legal action of Mr. Bowie would be swift and sparkly, I figured I’d offer the full book to download for free!
If you go here you’ll find a link to download the whole thing.
Enjoy and pass it along!

“I’m a princess.”
“And she keeps saying that. Heck, as far as I know, she actually is.”

I drew this commission of the cover of Daredevil #38 by Gene Colan. This photo loses a lot of the subtle line art and Copic Marker shading but it’s close to accurate. I’m sure the owner will put a scan online. He has commissioned other recreations of classic Daredevil covers too.

STAR TREK ONLINE
These are pics of my Vulcan Captain. She’s wearing a Star Trek The Motion Picture Top with Seven Of Nine’s Pants, Borg implants and Loop Earrings, and Star Trek The Original Series high boots. Her skin tone actually matches the pant color.
People think she is pantless and will actually squat to get a better look or like this one creep lay under her. Weird! She’s still clothed but the STTMP top makes it look like she’s wearing a man’s business shirt. LOL

Victorian Secrets: The Ladies Of Steampunk ships today.
I drew 15 pages of Steampunk beauties. I assure you mine are all respectable drawings.
I even drew a young Steampunk Helen Keller. Please go pick it up today at a comic shop near you. It won’t last long.
